We welcome visitors to meet us and our horses. To be sure that we can be here to show you around, we appreciate a phonecall or email from you so that we can make an appointment.
If, for some reason you can't make it, that's fine. But we do appreciate a call to let us know!
Note that on the map page you can zoom in or out. Also, you can click on 'Directions', type in your starting address and obtain the directions to here.
For interstate visitors coming via Melbourne or Adelaide:
Coming along the Western Highway you reach Ballarat. On the Ballarat bypass, take the Midland Highway exit (A300). Follow this right through town and out the south. Once you leave Sebastopol, take the Colac Road to the right and follow for about 25 kms through Napoleons and Enfield until you see the Dereel sign.
Just before the 70km speed sign, turn right into Dereel-Rokewood Junction Road. Go for about 2.7 kms. Just after you pass Browns Road, our entrance is on the right hand side.
Visitors coming from Geelong:
Head north on the A300 towards Ballarat. At Bannockburn, take a left hand turn towards ? and Rokewood. At Rokewood, turn right towards Ballarat (this is the Colac to Ballarat Road). Go up the hill until you reach Dereel.
Just after you leave Dereel and past the 100km sign, turn left into Dereel-Rokewood Junction Road. Go for about 2.7 kms. Just after you pass Browns Road, our entrance is on the right hand side.
For overseas visitors:
Nearest airport is Tullamarine in Melbourne (MEL) - about 1.5 hours away.
Hire cars are available at the airport.
There is a shuttle bus from the airport to Ballarat. Please see the Airport Shuttlebus Website for more information, bookings and fares.
Accomodation:
We have limited accomodation on farm. There are several hotels and motels in Ballarat and there is a Bed & Breakfast in Rokewood.
