Nice compact, short-backed gelding. He is spanish in type and well gaited.

Amadeo's dam is a partbred Andalusian mare who displays a nice amble in the paddock. With gaited parents on both sides of his pedigree he will be very easy to ride.

Amado has been well handled, has been tied up, loaded and floated. He is easy to worm, vaccinate, shoe etc. He has been ridden lightly for a couple of years, including roadwork, trailriding and attenting schooling sessions. He is good to be ridden in company or alone. Here are additional photos of Amadeo being ridden and having fun.

He trots nicely and comfortably and canters in a beautiful slow cadenced manner. But more importantly, he is well gaited, giving a smooth ride no matter what the terrain. He is a great pleasure riding horse.

Amadeo is a fun horse and would suit a rider with a little bit of experience. He is naturally forward moving but can be a bit of a woos when he sees spooky things. It takes only a little encouragement and he will go anywhere. He will suit a confident rider who likes a lively but well mannered horse and who appreciates the beautiful smooth gaits on offer.
