History
Romeo was bred by Cockatoo Park in Qld. He came to Narrawin in early 2019. He was started under saddle lightly in early 2020, showing nice attitude and eagerness to please as well as nice gaits, including a smooth amble. He will go back under saddle later in 2020 for further education.
Gaits & Movement
Romeo is a naturally gaited horse. He is the only known gaited Morgen in Australia. He has nice free, groundcovering movement in all gaits: rack, trot, walk and canter.
Conformation Notes
He has a beautiful refined face and the typical conformation of his breed, with excellent bone and a short, strong coupling. He has a harmonious overall look, and great self-carriage.
Personality
Romeo friendly and outgoing and loves people and interesting stuff. He likes to investigate everything. He is polite and respectful with people and on his first encounter in the breeding shed also behaved perfectly.
At Stud
Romeo stands at stud to a limited number of approved mares of all breeds for the 2020 stud season.
