Merlin is a fabulous typey colt with simply outstanding movement - a horse you can't help but notice. He has good bone and correct conformation together with a nice calm attitude and and outgoing personality. Photos were taken at 16 months of age.

We were retaining him for the stud, but have decided to let him go to the right homw as we are downsizing to focus on training and riding.

Merlin has been started under saddle. He has shown great attitude, willingness to learn and hapy to work for us. But above all, he is a simply stunning horse not only in looks but in movment. Here is a potential dressage superstar. He has a huge stride, carries himself beautifully and he simply flows. We named him absolutely correctly, because he does seem to walk on air!

He has a small scar on the front of his near side hock, which is barely visible in his summer coat. side from this, he is unblemished. He is well handled in every way, and fine to do anything with, inclduding loading and floating. He is respectful and attentive when handled and not very colty in his manners, making handling him a breeze. At the same time, he presents well and loves to show off. He is definitely stud and show quality.

Merlin would be an asset to any stud, show or competition home. We would prefer to see him have a stud career, but would consider selling him to a performance home where he can help promote the American Saddlebred Horse.
